Art modeling can be pretty boring as I work with extended poses. They are usually very comfortable poses such as reclined or sitting comfortably as you will need to remain and return in the pose 1,2,4, or more possible hours. I keep Netflix on whatever you need to keep you awake. My studio is climate controlled, comfy, clean and free of cigarettes.
Art modeling is also based on figurative(of the body) poses. Although nudity is not necessary in some poses such as portraiture in general it should be expected and if it's an issue should be discussed beforehand.
*Many models are comfortable with implied nudes, which works very well with painters as theres no camera.
