About Me

So here is the deal... Normally I paint landscapes for the last decade I have been trying to breakout of that mould and create some portarits and figurative poses! (Apparently its a slow process) So I guess I need a muse... If you are that person, that likes to pose for artists then let me know!

Payment - So I noticed that the rate has jumped to 30 from 20 an hour and I am good with that. I would prefer a 3 hour session with a few little breaks in between. Coffee, tea, music change that sort of thing?

The Session - In the session with your permission I would like to take a few reference shots. (Hands, Feet, Face, and General Pose) For the most part I would like to just work from the sketches! You will have full rights to the photos.

Travel - Well this is where if comes into play! So if you are coming up to Collingwood and would like to make $100 bucks for 3 hours of work - Perfect my studio is open!

Trades - I also do trades... Small landscape paintings(good for Christmas and Wedding gifts), ski instruction too! If you would like to fine tune your skiing skills I am a Level 3 Instructor and PL Trained Coach(Level 3). Lesson would be 3 hours and include lift ticket!

Projects - Here are some ideas

Nudes-Simple Chair and plain background with painting drop sheet in background.

Portraits

Exploring the erotic modern day nude but through composition creating the suggestive.
(No Pink)

Woman on the beach scenes (In studio)

Sundress Series

Now for my Bio....

Like the intricate images of a kaleidoscope, my paintings portray unique visions of colour, shape and motion. I draw inspiration from the beauty of nature, then assembles fragments of colour to create vibrant landscapes. Having a background as a graphic illustrator is evident in the composition of my work, which draws the eye to horizontal and vertical patterns not readily apparent in nature. The sense of motion created by these patterns is an integral component of my work.

Thanks,
Andrew
