I first became interested in photography when my son was born in 2006. I wanted to be able to capture all of the special moments as he grew up. Since then my love of photography has grown and matured. Originally I really enjoyed shooting flowers but I've discovered my love of shooting people, architecture, insects, animals and anything else. There's so much beauty in everything. I want my photography to be bold and to make a statement.

I'd like to shoot with all body types and all personality types. I like to shoot in natural light on site and I love finding unique and creative environments. I will do TF shoots, especially if I really like your style and I think my portfolio can be enhanced. I really love shooting models who fall out of the "standard beauty ideal" because I believe that the pressure society puts on people, women in particular, is harmful and needs to be countered. In that sense I'm an activist photographer. I like to meet with people before a shoot- getting to know your personality will help me with ideas- putting a model out of her element tends to end in stiff, unnatural photos so I want to make you comfortable and let you have fun.

I prefer minimal post processing on my models- I believe in natural beauty, not creating unrealistic ideals that are digitally created. You are beautiful enough without me retouching your skin, smoothing your wrinkles, or changing your eye color.
