About me
I define my style as the visual joining of the uncanny ability
to see things before they exist, a lifetime of over-romanticizing,
insomnia, an unfaltering fascination with humans,
and an obsessive need to create.
It all adds up. Somehow.
I consider myself to be a human witness
as well as a photographer. In the images I create
there has to be a clear, honest connection with the person
standing before me. It is my first and foremost concern.
Without that connection, the shot is nothing more than
a fabrication and falls far short of the mark.
When I meet people, I want to know their stories—
their strengths, their vulnerabilities, their loves,
their fears, their passions€.
I want to know what lies beneath the surface.
A photograph should portray an honest representation of these elements to the viewer.
I will always be a work in progress but my vision far exceeds my experience level.
Combine all of the abovewith a love affair with light,
and you have my work.
