All About Brad...
I'm a photographer based in the Los Angeles area (actually Garden Grove, but who outside Orange County in Southern California really knows where the fuck Garden Grove is?). I sometimes spend 50% of my life traveling the world with my Monday thru Friday job, so I do have experience shooting models internationally. My travel schedule can make it difficult to set-up photo shoots more than 2 weeks in advance.
Photography is not my primary source of income. My primary source of income is my Monday-Friday job, so I only have Saturdays and Sundays to shoot. I DO NOT WORK FOR FREE, unless you approach me with an opportunity to enhance my portfolio or you're willing to work with me on a project I want to develop for my portfolio.
I shoot with professional quality imaging equipment and my rates are reasonable. While I don't own my own studio one can be rented given enough notice. I also have all the necessary studio lighting equipment, so if you have a clean indoor space I can make it into a studio for our shoot.
My purpose here is to work with female models (or non-models) to create images that engage people emotionally. If it's worthy of being published, and I don't have to move my ass too much, then great.
Since my speciality is Glamour...
If you don’t like glamour, we shouldn’t work together.
If you’re not comfortable with your body, we shouldn’t work together.
If you don't have a sense of humor, we shouldn’t work together.
Success in our photo shoot is our ability to work together and come up with something beautiful. It's not just a picture. Its one singular, beautiful moment of your life, captured forever. It does have meaning and will be amazing.
Glamour isn't the only genre I'll shoot. Others include:
Sports
Family
Couples (Engagement-style)
Maternity
Pets
Kids
Real Estate (home/business interiors, exteriors)
Events
Photo Booths
Products
Bands
I require a signed Model Release for TFT (Trade For Time, no commercial use of images) or Paid (where I’m paying the model, model releases her rights to the photos) photo shoots.
If you hire me for photography services I will provide you a signed Photographer Release giving you 100% rights to the photos. My rates are (studio fees not included):
$250 - 2 hours (includes equipment/lighting set-up time). You receive 2 edited pics of your choice and all unedited pics.
$450 - 4 hours (includes equipment/lighting set-up time). You receive 4 edited pics of your choice and all unedited pics.
$700 - 8 hours (includes equipment/lighting set-up time). You receive 8 edited pics of your choice and all unedited pics.
For TFT shoots I don't compensate for gas. Trust me, I'm coming to the photo shoot well equipped to capture you. Likewise, I will never ask you for gas money.
Let's talk about escorts.
No (unless if we've worked together in the past) - husbands, boyfriends, brothers, or fathers.
Yes - girlfriends, gay male friends, sisters or mothers.
Models under 18 years of age are required to bring a parent or guardian to the shoot to witness the model signing a model release.
I have a ton of references. Just ask. Or feel free to contact any of the models I have credited above.
What is it like to work with Brad? If you ask me it's fun, relaxed and always professional. Don't take my word for it - contact any model I've shot with and ask them. I keep my credit list up to date with a link to their profile page. Or just listen to what Claudia has to say... http://vimeo.com/32689462
...and while we're on the subject of credit. If you post pictures in your portfolio that I take you better add me as the photographer credit in that photo. If you don't know what this means then ask.
Any more questions? Just ask.
