Martha Rojas was born in Santa Marta, Colombia, daughter of Marly Esther Lopez and Elpidio Rojas. She had a happy and playful childhood along with her sister Karen and brother Maikol. As a child, she was recognized for being well disciplined, studious, and fun.
She completed High School at 16 years old, and then began her International Business studies at the University of Magdalena in Santa Marta, Colombia. During her 3rd Semester, she was chosen by her classmates to represent the school in an annual Miss Congeniality competition due to charisma, talent, and beauty. It was at this competition where Martha began her career as a model in Santa Marta with the modeling agency: Modelos & Modelos. Shortly after launching her modeling career, she had the opportunity to work with famous Colombian designers, participated in several fashion shows in major Colombian cities, and was a highly sought after model. Upon completing her studies at the University of Magdalena, she decided to move to Bogota, Colombia and joined the most coveted modeling agency in Colombia, RCN Models. At RCN Models, she began entering the acting scene with several reoccurring roles in Soap Operas. It was during this time that she developed a passion for acting and decided to pursue her dreams.
Given the opportunity to travel, she decided to move to the United States and initially moved to Monterey, California. In Monterey, she took several English courses to help reduce her accent and study English at Monterey Peninsula College. While in Monterey, she also found some work as a model in the San Francisco Bay Area.
In search of a greater opportunity, Martha moved to the Newport, RI to continue with her modeling career and joined TBW Models; however, she still had a desire to pursue her acting career. In order to fulfill her dreams, Martha moved to New York City to study acting in the renowned Lee Strasberg Theater and Film Institute, where she has studied for over a year. While living in NYC, many doors have been open such as modeling due to her exotic and Latina beauty which is not so common.
Her body is a result of a healthy diet, along with a rigorous training regimen that includes time in the gym, boxing, yoga, TRX, and Zumba. Her distinct skin color, long hair, and body are traits that help characterize Martha as an attractive woman.
Kind, passionate, dedicated to her family, and career driven are all words that can describe Martha Rojas!
