Richard began taking pictures when he was a teenager (over 30 years ago.)  At the age of 21 he was commissioned to do his first paid shoot; an album cover for a singing group called Revolution and he was hooked.



Since then, Richard has photographed all manner of people, places and things from one end of the globe to the other, and his photographic interests are quite eclectic.  For practical purposes, he is now focusing on people.  Business professionals turn to him for photos for their websites, business cards, brochures, etc.  Models and aspiring models count on him to help them build their working portfolios.  He photographs children of all ages and families large and small.  People celebrating special anniversaries, landmark birthdays, engagements, weddings, the birth of a baby or the addition of a new pet; they all call on him to capture that perfect image that will be treasured for a lifetime. 



Richard is a digital photographer who prefers to work in outdoor locations or in peoples’ homes and/or offices rather than in a studio; however, studio shoots are certainly available if you wish.  He photographs in standard portrait-style and also frequently utilizes the very popular photo-journalistic approach.  Samples of both can be seen on this site.



He is available for corporate work as well.  A few of his most recent corporate clients include: The Kiwanis International Foundation, the American Red Cross, Shuttleport, Inc., San Jose International Airport, the Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Dept., the American Heart Association, the San Jose Giving Tree and Dream’s Fashion Shows.  He was the official photographer for the 2005 San Francisco Carnival parade, Cupertino Kiwanis’ 50th Anniversary Celebration, and the Special Games for the past 5 years.
