Kuna Lu is an experienced international photographer based in Vancouver, B.C., Canada. Kuna graduated with a photography diploma from Focal Point, a renowned professional visual arts learning centre. Starting up as a film photographer gave Kuna excellent opportunities to explore and experiment in various styles from black and white to colour to transparency slide films, as well as acquiring extensive knowledge from the darkroom processing to colour printing. Trained in traditional camera work, Kuna is keenly aware of how best to capture the essence and beauty of his subjects with every shutter click. Kuna is also well versed in digital photography, an emerging popular medium for the photography industry.  His unique style showcases both the beautiful artistry of traditional film and the vibrant precision of digital photography.

Kuna is well known for creating astonishing atmosphere in his work with vivid colour touch under complicated and extremely difficult lighting conditions. His works has documented major B.C. corporations and organizations’ annual events such as the Art Umbrella, ACSEA, Holt Renfrew, Richmond Centre Mall, the Richmond Hospital Foundation, and many more. Kuna never takes any image he creates lightly, and continuously striving to improve his artistry. Kuna has a rare talent of transforming the seemingly ordinary into extraordinary surprise.
