About me
I am a 25-year-old body painter based out of Los Angeles. Though I have been drawing and painting since I was only a few years old, I have recently found my niche in body art. I graduated from UC Santa Cruz in 2009 with a B.A. in Environmental Studies, and am currently pursuing a career in wildlife conservation, while spicing up my life with this wonderful and alluring art form.
My first body painting took place at Burning Man '09. About a year after, I worked with a few photographer friends who helped me get my portfolio going, and ever since, I was hooked. I have absolutely fallen in love with this form of art and am very excited for the adventures that lie ahead.
I use all skin-safe paints including Kryolan, Wolfe FX, and Mehron.
Models, I want you to be comfortable during the painting process! Since body painting can be time consuming, I want you to take breaks, stretch, grab a snack etc. etc. when you need to! I want this to be a fun experience for everyone involved.
Who I want to work with:
Creative individuals from many different walks of life. I am open to some TF work as long as the theme compliments my portfolio and it is logistically feasible. I try to stay away from tired and overdone body painting themes, but am open to putting new spins on old ideas. I am seeking photographers with fresh, inspiring concepts and models with unique looks who can bring fantastic energy to the shoot. No divas please! And photographers, you must be professional and tasteful. Paints are not free and neither is gas, so I must be choosy about which TF projects I take on.
When scheduling a shoot, I prefer to book at least one week in advance, thanks! When contacting me for a shoot or event, please state the proposed date(s), location, if this is a TF or paid shoot, possible themes, and other individuals involved.
I have a passion for surreal, abstract, nature-influenced, mythical, pseudo-historical, and fantasy-esque themes. I am currently NOT looking to add the following themes to my port, and will consider them for commissioned work only: sports team jerseys, tigers/leopards, avatar, and re-creations of existing works of art.
