With 40+ years experience I've shot every type of photography there is from photojournalism, to catalogs of toasters, to high fashion, to weddings in St. Patrick's Cathedral. In the 1980s I had a studio in NYC where I produced photos for fashion magazines and catalogs. For a time I photographed all the "New Faces" for Ford Models. When we meet I can tell you stories about all the famous people I worked with or for back in the 80s but truthfully I'd rather just make pictures and talk about you. In 1994 my life changed and I took over as publisher of a motorcycle magazine. I traveled the United States and most of Europe by motorcycle taking photos and writing about it. In 2005 the magazine folded and I went back to doing my photography full time. I will never stop making photographs. My current major project is called, "The Red Dress Project." I am willing to photograph any model in this famous dress (from the movie Crocodile Dundee) providing it fits you. My goal is to photograph more women in the same one dress than any other photographer has done in history. I figure that by the time I've done a hundred-plus sittings I will have a gallery show and a book. More about my Red Dress Project can be seen at: http://FamousRedDress.com
I pride myself on being very personable. Though I'm happy to make friends, I'm afraid I'm off the market. For 30 years, I've been very happily married to a wonderful woman, a recent Lung Cancer survivor and the love of my life.
I don't have any clients to offer paid work as companies no longer pay what I feel a photographer's (or model's) work is worth. I'm confident, however that my photographs, in your portfolio or on your website, will help you book work. I do not sell my nude/erotic photography for publication though I do sell numbered/signed original prints and post to my blog/Flickr/Tumblr. So I will ask you to sign a release.
I enjoy meeting new models, sharing my experience and/or advice. I feel that making photographs is an art form and only shoot with high-end digital cameras plus medium format film in black and white. I prefer simple setups with available lighting and minimal use of flash. Quality and simplicity is my motto.
If you model for me expect a calm and relaxing time and excellent photographs.
