Aloha, I'm Jen.

The camera has been my constant companion for 18 years.
I love what I do, and I take it very seriously. I do not treat your photographic needs like a hobby. I am full time photographer artist. I do commercial photography which includes everything from food to architecture, business products to boudoir, candid to constructed photography, portfolio, models, music, event photography, and anything else you can think of, and for me I do fine art photography which is heavily abstract and based in nature, and actual Nature photography with an emphasis on Oceanic Life!
You will have fun on shoot with me, because I'm laid back and easy to communicate with. I know how to give direction and receive direction, gracefully. If you know what you are doing and know what you want, GREAT! If not, then I can help direct you during the shoot, and we can have a meeting before to discuss ideas that you may have about what you want your photos to feel and look like.
My goal is to provide AFFORDABLE photographic services for anyone in need, for any reason, and I'm highly creative so I can offer shots of you that are out of the ordinary for your portraits, and composite cards. This is fun for me!
I can help you to uniquely express yourself through photos, because you know what 'they' say about them,..."A picture is worth a thousand words." There is that, and this; I can see how beautiful you really are.

As for me, I lived in Texas for most of my life, 32 years or so, and then one day I sold everything I owned and bought a one way ticket to a place I'd never been to before. Hawaii!! So, now I live on Oahu, Hawaii, in Honolulu a block from the beach. I make art and I take photos, and I love to make people happy with what I do for them. I am trying to get into the Contemporary Museum of Art here, and other places, as I just want to make art for my life and hope that my art communicates with people in a happy kind of way. I'm a huge sucker for a good cause, so I donate tons of art to local causes where ever I go, some being the Project Transitions, The White Buffalo Project, and ARC of the Arts, Toma Mi Corazon, and Texas Swing in Texas, Hurricane/Tsunami/Earthquake Relief Benefits (all over), The Surf-Rider Foundation, Waikiki Aquarium, Reef-watch Waikiki, and Conservation Hawaii Alliance here in Hawaii to name a few. Softy at heart, I know.
I love to enter Jurried shows because I want the work to gain entry of its own accord.
