Hello! I am a St. Louis photographer specializing in creating retro inspired images, Old Hollywood Glamor, Pinup, and Very Unique Fashion. I have an extensive personal collection of vintage props and wardrobe, and access to much more.
My goal is to get published and make money from this art. I am very driven, anal about details, professional, intense, and creative.
Working With Me:
I'm only interested in TF* with intelligent, creative, models who have strong social media presences. I've modeled before, so if I just want a hot chick to look pretty, I can shoot myself and can even read my own mind :-) ... and I love cross-promoting models' FaceBook pages.
Rates and TF*:
Unless you're responding to a casting call that I've posted, or you're a smart gal with a strong social media presence, or you have props and cool stuff to trade... I have a very reasonable ModelMayhem only rate, which goes towards my material supplies and use of the studio.
Hair and makeup artists: I'm always open to TF* collaborations with professional makeup and hair artists. I respect the up front value of their supplies (atleast, as a photographer, I can re-use my investment- you can't re-use makeup and hygienic supplies); therefore I will never approach MUAHs about unpaid TF - but feel free to contact me!
Unless a hair and makeup artist is credited, I've done or advised the model on hair and makeup in this portfolio. I tend to be pretty darn good with makeup, and not so good with hair.
I'm in the midst of restoring several key pieces including: a 1928 wedding gown, a Sophie (Gimbel) Original from the late 40s, and a 1950s Emma Domb (look these brands up!). These rare dresses have approximately 26 inch waists and 32 inch busts, and the 1920s wedding dress is especially small and delicate. See my measuring instructions graphic below.
Other projects:
VintageReveries.com - I have around 900 dresses from the 50s-70s in all sizes. Many of my un-listed dresses I can sell for $30 or less - they make great costume pieces!
Because of my vintage clothing business, I can USUALLY provide clothing for shoots - although I expect you to bring your own shoes, stockings/hosiery, and undies. (I have a very limited supply of vintage stockings that are for sale.)
Please read the below on how to measure yourself for vintage clothing, and note that bust size is the total inches around at your widest point while wearing a bra. It is no fun having clothing picked out for a shoot, only to discover that it's too small.

Everything else :-). I do Wordpress website design, search engine optimization, and more. This is where I've recently started putting my mainstream/fashion/family/event photography. My rates for designing model and photographer portfolios, stores, paysites, websites are very reasonable (from $200).
Misc notes:
I encourage you to bring a chaperone (friend, mom, boyfriend, sister, etc.) if it makes you feel more comfortable when working with me. Any men you bring will be put to work helping lift props and holding wardrobe
I am
always open to new business ideas!
