My late father had always told me since I was eight years old that I should be a model. Of course I didn't like the idea at that time because I did not like being sexy and being naked everyday of my life. As I hit my high school years, I've had a change of heart, especially when there is more to modeling than being naked. I found myself enjoying photography, but little did I know that I enjoy being in front of any camera than be behind the scenes. A lot of circumstances in my life have got in the way of me being able to pursue my career in modeling/acting. I realized at the age of twenty that I wanted to get into show business. At the age of twenty-seven, I now have begun to gain some experience with acting and performing. I was an understudy for the "Mother" character in the college production, Machinal; and then wrote and performed a monologue called "Voices". I have many goals I love to accomplish in my life before I get old and past, such as writing screenplays and directing them, but my main goal is to start focusing on my career in modeling and acting. I am a Cinema Production Studies and Dramatic Arts major, as well as a Dance Minor for the College of Staten Island. Although I studied film production, I always found myself being in front of a video camera than anything else. I know Model Mayhem will give me the best experience and help me reach for my goals.
