I have been a lot of things, but took up art - body painting - in 2009 as an escape from the world of computers and science. The art is fun, and temporary. I do use stencils for detailed work, precutting them, and am still learning some of the sponge/brush/masking techniques. I went to FABAIC in 2010, 2011, 2012, and in 2013, and participated in Pashur and Jay Bautistas Tribal Workshop in Feb 2013.
First practice session - "Red Queen" - 4/16/2011 with Jennifer Lauryn from B'ham, AL.
FABAIC 2011 - I worked with JEM Model and Body Paint Girl ( both full body ). Great experience! I have worked with about 20 models between FABAIC sessions: practice and technique development
Someday I hope to paint for the SI Swimsuit issue. Fat chance, but it's just a hope.
For what it's worth, this is just a hobby.
