Pamela Lauren has a strong conceptual approach to design assuring ideas are evolutionary and not cyclical. The label is often inspired by societal values that have fallen through the cracks. This involves questioning motives and truths, particularly asking, ‘why?’
Pamela Lauren’s aesthetics are often described as sensory driven which evokes a dark and whimsical mood. The creative process involves allowing the designer’s hands to think for her, letting the design be influenced by chance.
When working with materials, emphasis is placed on experimenting and exploring textures that best capture the spirit of the concept. Often, this results in soft, sculptural garments, many layers of transparency and thoughtful textures.

Currently, this year will require many photo shoots and runway shows. I'm hoping I can work with many of you on Model Mayhem! Be prepared to try something new!! :)
