This site blows. I will not be updating my portfolio anymore due to this site's lame business model for photo uploads. Message me if you'd like to work with me. I am accepting trades since this is a pet project and you'd be paying me in time/nudes.
Secret Shoebox is a Polaroid/Instax/Impossible film side-project by Dillinger Photography (MM #49245) There is nothing new or original about this venture, other than I personally have not done a focused project like this before. Other photographers have done this far better than I can ever hope to achieve. I'm only doing this for fun and to shake up my habit of shooting digital too often. :P
When someone dies, the bereaved usually takes it upon themselves to gather keepsakes and clean out the domain of the departed. Polaroids and any other instant film formats tended to be the unofficial format for amateur pornography (especially circa 1990 and earlier.) While cleaning out said deceased's closet, you might stumble upon a literal and figurative buried treasure: a secret shoebox filled with dirty Polaroids. This project is an experiment in voyeurism and intimacy. These photos are of significant others that never were. I hope to illustrate the mundane, surreal, sensual and absurd moments reserved only for the eyes of two involved lovers.
This project is reserved mainly for models that I've already worked with under my Dillinger Photography moniker, but I'm open to working with any models that are genuinely interested in this project (This project is also open to male models, by the way.) Nudity in the pictures is not required, but you have to be okay with at least implied. If you want to be involved in something less risque': contact me through my main project.
Please contact me through MM mail if you're serious about working with me.
(Apologies in regards to the low quality of the scans: I'm in the process of purchasing a new photo scanner. Better scans and new photos will happen in the future. That being said, no I would not like you to digitally retouch my photos. If you can't understand why I don't want instant film retouched, you can go f**k yourself. ;D)
