About Me

My interest in photography dates back to high school. It's always been important for me to have a creative outlet. I spent many satisfying years in the video production business, but have ended up in a corporate position that is a great job but gives me little outlet for my creative energy. Over the last ten years or so, I have returned to photography to provide myself with that creative outlet.

I have chosen not to undertake this as a moneymaking venture—I am doing it strictly for the enjoyment it brings me. Because of this, I prefer to work time-for-image, even though I treat every project with the same level of professionalism and focus I maintained when I was working in the video production business.

I have a regular job, family responsibilities, and community commitments that limit my shooting availability to one weekend a month, sometimes two. This means that I need to schedule shoots well in advance. I would like to work with models who understand the commitment on both sides of the time-for-image arrangement. If that's you, I'd love to hear from you.

Thanks,

Doug
