We are actually more of a team pursuing my hobby. My wife is the one who is primarily in my port. She is enjoys modeling and I enjoy shooting. I will say that she is very good with a camera herself. Feel free to contact me if you would like her to model for you.
I started about 6 years ago, primarily shooting parts for my job. I wanted them to look professional and I didnt stop until I accomplished that. I am mostly self taught, I read books, study other peoples photography and play with the camera, and computer until I get something I like.
I like to play with photoshop and come up with creative images, sometimes overdone and sometimes needing more. The more pictures I shoot the less time I spend in Photoshop or Lightroom. They either dont need as much or I don't have the time because I am taking so many more photos these days. If you are a model I will definitely give 100% time and effort to your pictures.
Photography is a hobby for me. So it is rare that I have money to pay models to shoot. I do have something to offer other than TFP/CD. I have some locations and props that most don't.
I have access to:
A nice boat, and jet skis, I go to the lake about every other weekend in the summer.
I have access to a secluded Ranch with great views of the mountains, a small western cabin, corrals, and old barn, a new barn, a windmill, tall grass, cows, horses (to ride), I have a lot of animals. Goats, puppies, kittens, dogs.
I am near a forest, have a hottub.
Lastly I have an unfinished basement that I have set up a makeshift studio in. I do have studio lights as well. However, I prefer mostly to shoot outdoors.
I have found that I enjoy all different types and styles of photograpy. I am very interested to know what the model wants to shoot and try to accommodate that. I enjoy it all, my hope is to expand my port beyond my wife, and add something to your port that you dont have, and something to mine that I dont have.
I will shoot casual, glamour, real life, fashion? (never really have and I dont have makeup or hairstlyist, well actually Jessica is good with makeup and I know a hairstylist) I have done weddings and events.
I will do clothed, swim, lingerie, partial nude, full nude, and one I really enjoy is artistic nude. I will say I enjoy doing nudes but not because I am a pervert or the typical guy. I have always thought that women are Gods work of art, and are beautiful. I love to try and capture that beauty. I will say that I really spend more time on that type of shoot, adjusting lights and trying different things.
So the bottom line is I want to collaborate with you, to continue my skills, improve your porfolio, And to ultimately have fun. I am a laid back easy going person, and so is Jessica. I am so laid back that it may hurt me a little with posing models. I am working on that.
Most of the locations are a little ways out. We do have a very plush 5th wheel type trailer and invite you to stay in it if you like.
Shoot with a Nikon D-80, and use Mac OS X, with Creative Suite CS3, and Lightroom. We would prefer to do TFCD, but contact us anyway.
