Every photo shoot should be better than the last....
If I asked you to be my friend its because I like your work and hope to work with you one day. What I mean by this is that when I have clients I will look through my friends as options for hire depending on the style/necessity/location/rate, etc. Unless of course you are a photographer in which case I am going to copy you.....jk
If you ask to be my friend I assume you are doing the same thing.... to pay me.
My specialty is indoor themed work with full creative directing including wardrobe design/styling and building sets to accomodate the theme. This is a specialty art that takes a massive amount of time and care. I take pride in my ability to transform space and models. I am available for travel. To book this service please send me a message or call me at 702-416-6558.
I do this full time and need to pay my bills. If I am doing TF it is solely because I have a project I want to do.
I do love doing themed photo shoots and I look forward to developing and building a theme for you.
I am currently working on my Wear Recycle Series and will then be working on my Women Who Use Their Bodies to Make Their Livelihood Project. What this means is that I am not taking any TF outside of this.
The Wear Recycle Series examines the fragility of human relationship and the consistency of fragility in sculpting paper. It involves getting casted, then a sculpture is built on top of the cast, and then modeling the sculpture. Valarie and Samantha are resident hair and makeup for the project.
We are now looking and accepting sponsorship for the project.
The series has been published in an AIGA card. Graphic West then sponsored Wear Recycle by printing 100 cards and 25 posters for us

Graphic West is a leading printer here in Las Vegas.
If you are interested in any of this projects let me know.
I am looking for blond and red heads for the Wear Recycle project. I realized I must have a fancy for brunettes because all the models I had picked were so.
The project has now expanded into business owners and community participants. I will be casting the CEO of Aspen Communications next week while Greenspun Media tapes it as well as photographs it.

Right now I am building casts that have been casted. And will be going back into a casting period once these ones are complete.
For anyone who is interested in the Recycled Paper Sculpture Series:
I have a blog where I give more details about the process and concepts of my work.

Message about SKC Photography comments:
A received a message from a gentleman who thought it be best if I apologize because I look like a bitch.
First I want to thank this individual for being open and honest to me, as well as taking the time to write me. For those of you who are bothered by my comments, this is what I wrote to him. I think it explains me well and describes why I am not willing to apologize.
I am a very passionate person and being from MA can be a bit on the critical side. I usually only use the latter quality when in educational situations, when defending a group of people who are treated unfortunately because of their orientation, and of course with my family (who are rougher than anyone I've come across). I am a huge advocate for equal rights with no discrimination for people who look different and have different religious or sexual orientation.
The comment that SKC wrote was a direct discriminatory comment towards a gay model and the photographer who's subject matter is gay erotica.
MM is not a website were people often place negative comments on photos, its one of the reason's why I like it. Her comment was the first comment like that I have read here on MM. I was hurt by the negligence of it. I was hurt that even if she were strictly talking about the quality of the image, that because her comment only read "yuk", that the model was clearly going to interpret it about orientation.
I appreciate that you wrote to me and allowed me to understand that I look like a bitch. All the messages I wrote that described why I was being critical, SKC deleted. I am fully comfortable with looking like a bitch if it is to stick up for a group of people who are easily attacked. Those who know me know I am the exact opposite (though they also know I am capable of it when needed).
Thank you for your message. I hope you are not too distressed by this, and I hope your opinion of SKC has not changed. I'm sure she is a nice person who wrote a careless comment.
Have a good weekend.
Nicky
