I am a fine art photographer specializing in large format pigment on cotton rag prints. I was classically trained at City Art Institute, NSW Institute of the Arts in Sydney (one of Australia's leading art schools, now COFA). I graduated with straight distinctions in a photography major. I prefer working in black and white. My previous projects have included couples, expecting mothers, yoga practitioners and individuals. All of my previous work has been nude and done in such a way so that the model/s were unidentifiable when requested.

I wish to integrate my landscape photography with the human form. This would require outdoor shoots in landscape areas.  I would also like to add a few more males to my portfolio, and even some group nudes. I am also interested in doing some lingerie shoots as well.

I usually negotiate with the model for usage rights in exchange for a framed print of the models choosing (TFP). I am currently shooting with large format film. I have known Leonard Metcalf in the capacity as friend for approximately 15 years. I would not hesitate to recommend him as a fine art nude
photographer. I posed nude for Leonard when I was approximately 38 weeks pregnant with my first child. Leonard was extremely professional throughout the whole process. The end result was a lovely and interesting print that hangs on my bedroom wall. My only regret is that I did not ask Leonard to do a similar print of my pregnancy when carrying my second child. Hi Len,
I was first attracted to Leonards photography by his mastery of composition. Every element in an image is meticulously balanced for maximum effect.
As a model, I really enjoy working with Leonard. He is careful in setting up each shot. As he uses large format black and white film, his shooting style is a pleasant relief from the hundreds of shots an hour typical of modern digital cameras. He will produce maybe four or five well thought out images in an hour. He is always ready to consider input from the model, so that the finished image is a combination of his original artistic vision blended with input from the model to produce outstanding work.
