After 14 years of working as a writer/photojournalist for one of the largest newspapers in Michigan, I am teaching photography and own a membership-based rental studio called WorkShoots in downtown Grand Rapids.  I still do a select amount of portrait photography.  I enjoy trying to reveal the personality, style, strength and emotion of my clients and subjects.  I don't just want to show what you look like, I want to show what you are like.

Paying clients always take precedent, however, I will work TF* with models whose portfolios I can enhance and who will provide images to enhance my portfolio as well.  I also use TF* shoots to try new ideas before using them with paying clients.
