I have just recently experienced the other side of the lens. I was and am a photographer firstly. A dear fellow photographer and friend suggested I model some phtotos he had in mind since he couldn't find a model willing to do them. So after that shoot, it was kind of whirlwind. After only two shoots I was having so much fun and really getting into the model role. A few fellow photographers and some friends kept dropping the statement that I should get paid to model. So since I do not know if they were simply being friend-polite or being honest, I figured, if I could surely see myself taking this career, I should get opinions from other photographers as well as models, just to see if I really had it in me and outside of me to be a good model. I prefer to do harder shoots. I love ice and snow and being nude. Fetish/BDSM photos are some of my favorites. I love to experiment with lighting and the elements (mud, water, snow, fire, etc.) I am willing to try anything at least once or twice before I decide how I feel with it, meaning poses, locations, other models in the shot, etc. I am very willing to travel to NY and NJ from my PA location and compensation can be either prints, money, bus fair (if travel is involved), or even just an awesome reference, it depends on each situation.
