These days almost every photo you see is photoshop-edited to perfection, airbrushed, nipped and tucked. My work is based upon the ‘old-school’ approach to photography. To take a subject be it an insect, a mountain or a model, and capture a pure moment of time and expression. Using all sources of light and darkness in order to capture the image to please (or displease) the eye. In doing this I'm constantly studying techniques used from all eras of photography with old camera's and new.
My name is James and I'm from Australia, though I spend most of my days traveling the world with musicians and artists capturing life from an photo-journalistic view. I’m passionate about everything I do in life and this inspires me to travel and capture images. I want to work with beautiful people around the world. Beautiful in heart, soul, body and mind.
I am available and open to most styles of photography, other than Glamour/Zoo/FHM.
