About me
My name is Veronica Van Dine. I am dutch, and I feel that I am capable of many different types of looks. Although I am from Dallas, people assume I am many different races, but am essentially of the Netherlands region, and look as so. I have done fashion, commercial, lifestyle, editorials, swimwear, and some promotional modeling; but my favorite genre of modeling is fashion/editorials. I'm noticeably easy-going--as well as outgoing; and I love people who respect me as a model, and respect my ideas and boundaries. In contrast, I am also a model who is very diverse and optimistic towards others' ideas.
My look is a very exotic, intense one, that I feel has a lot of depth--that comes with various interpretations and feelings for (different) people; as art does. But am also able to look sweet, playful, innocent, as well as youthful. Fundamentally, I am able to look very cold, mature, or very warm and sweet; to fit the theme of the shoot. But I promise I am very warm and sweet-always, as long as you are to me. :) Most of the time I will mirror someone's attitude. If they're straight to the point-- business/professional-- I will be as well. But will most likely default to my sweet friendly attitude. Another random fact about me is that I have remarkably long eyelashes, that look as if they are fake, which causes people to think that I am regularly wearing eyelash extensions. I have only worn eyelash extensions a few times, not to create a longer look, because my eyelashes are as long as most extensions (excluding dramatic sorts), but to create a fuller look. But if done correctly you can coat them to create an extension look--without applying or buying eyelash extensions. Aside from my looks, I care about the people I work with and care eminently that they are content with the result of the shoot.
On top of that, I also have experience in being a general assistant to Photographers. Shooting weddings, promoting companies, making sales calls, and keeping record of business cards and names in the industry. Moreover, I am skilled at remembering people's names, where and how you met them; and will make sure you are aware of it, to improve your image, professionalism, and formality towards others. I'm great at making jokes, and connecting with people on a personal level, as well as in a professional and business aspect. Although I was originally just an assistant photographer, I feel that I have a natural eye for framing, lighting, directing, & spotting a good photo in lifestyle events- (and was also told so) and usually return with some very credible photos that my photographer was satisfied with, in which he was happy to present to the client. I have been rebooked, and have even been booked for several events promoting Cadillac. I excel in professionalism, promotions and representations. --And in addition, feel that I represented Cadillac, and the photographing company extremely well. I'm incredibly observant and aware, and am very capable of assisting you, without you even having to ask- ,customarily... if I simply see you looking around. In conjunction, I will undoubtedly ask you questions in order to be professional to make sure that I'm giving you what you want; in order to represent your company in the way you desire. I am also great at coming up with ideas relevant to certain organizations in order for you to succeed, and get your name out there.
Overall, what I am looking for on this site is paid shoots, tearsheets, the chance to work for some name-brand or up-and-coming fashion designers locally and internationally, and to accomplish one of my main goals in life- to travel. I am also looking for the opportunity to be able to impress, and help simplify your life, with my intellect & brilliance in general assistance of ALL types, as I enjoy doing so.
