I guess most folks would say I'm an 'experienced amateur'. Photography is not my full time job, nor is it ever likely to be. I work full time on the railways, and my photography is a diversion from the day job.
I'll shoot pretty much anything, but in the last couple of years I have started to realise that 'people pictures' are where its at for me. To that end I am in the process (very early in the process, it must be said!) of building myself a portfolio of relevant shots.
I have also chosen to take the plunge and get into live gig photography. Some samples of my work with bands are on my website.
At the moment I am quite happy working TF* (preferably with models reasonably local to Birmingham!). I do have my own portable lighting, but I'm just as happy working in a proper studio if you have one local to you.
