About me

I'm Odalis Venegas and I began sewing from the young age of 11. I have gone from making dresses for dolls to dresses for real women that are feminine and classic. I have completed all my courses at Cal State University Northridge for a B.S. degree with a concentration on Apparel Design & Production. The dresses I've made so far range from industry size 6-12. My goal is to keep growing as a designer and will continue making gowns, cocktail dresses, and eventually clothing for men and children. I am dedicated to my craft and would like to emphasize that I put a lot of thought and work into all garments I construct throughout the complete design and production process.
I'm looking to meet people in the fashion field to gain further insight and be able to keep up in the modern fast paced fashion world. Specifically I would like to meet models who want to represent my clothing. Also I would like to get to know more hairstylists, makeup artists, wardrobe stylists, as well as any other designers who may need assistance in sewing.
When the time is right, I hope to be able to showcase at L.A. Fashion Week events or have my garments be seen in magazines.
