Originally from London I started out as an image editor working for other photographers, eventually I grew frustrated with the images I was recieving as I didnt always want to take the images to the same place the photographer did. So I began to learn photography and found a passion that will stay with me for life. After establishing a photography business in London Katie had a terrible accident that forced us to move to be closer to her family in the North East. I really like the North East and the people here, so I am now a creative photographer based in Middlesbrough in the North East of England but I'm in London often to work and visit family too. Katie has made a good recovery after learning to walk and talk again and is now fully able to be a second shooter and is working like normal although her operation scars still remain. So here we are. We are both fun loving and easy going people that understand the value of life the people in our lives.
I am absolutely passionate about photography and the camera is an extention of my body to me. I LOVE intense tones and strong contrasts. I would not consider myself a traditional shooter, I feel I try to break as many photography rules as I can in an attempt to learn. If im told it wont work I will make it work. I feel my work has a style and feel that is different. I am interested in people and each shoot I do is personal to me. You will find me to be easy going, I am down to earth and easy to get on with if a bit wacky at times.
I take on various different types of photographic work but I am very much interested in clients that want a spark of creativity in their photographs. I am available to hire for both commercial clients and the general public.
I work with my assistant and girlfriend Katie who assists me on shoots and in the running of the studio. As ever she is a great help and keeps me well grounded and focussed.
If you would like to contact me please message me through the contact page, even if you just want to say hi :)
PS. This is my job and am often busy with assignments and jobs. Apologies if I don't get back to anyone any time soon.
