bahhh there's no luck in our industry. It's all about experience. The more times you get screwed the better off you are, so you know what not to do next time. A crappy way to look at it, but it's true. I tend to think of each and everything thing that I do as a learning experience and improve from there.

This contest is for females 18 yrs or older who are interested in becoming the face of The Grand Prix of Houston. All finalists will be required to stay at the official hotel - THE HYATT REGENCY HOUSTON, from Friday April 25th to Sunday April 27th - accommodation; breakfast, lunch and evening meals are all provided. All finalists become members of the Miss Grand Prix Promo Team and have the opportunity to work promotional, print, television, and radio appearances all year round. We are looking for ladies who are reliable, friendly, and well spoken. Previous race knowledge is a plus but is not required. There will be a number of preliminary rounds at which finalists will be selected to go forward to the Miss Grand Prix Houston Grand Final, which is held on the track Saturday April 26th on the Grand Prix Concert Stage.

You must bring with you for the preliminary judging your own Swimwear (bikini or one piece, but no thongs as this is a corporate presentation) and an After 5 Eveningwear (elegant) with heels to match.
$10,000 IN PRIZES!!
The winner of the 2007 Miss Grand Prix Houston shares in over $10,000 in cash and prizes including a $5000 contract to represent the Grand Prix of Houston for the 2008 race year. 1st gets $1000 cash, 2nd gets $500, 3rd gets $300, all others get $200.

actually... i wouldn't recommend Millennia to anyone. seemed like they were only concerned with enrolling naive models into their 'classes' and collecting a tuition check. i was given a scholarship for their classes and a photoshoot after the runway show, so at least i didn't get suckered into paying. you might want to look into Neal Hamil Agency... my friend Matt Hickl's represented by them (he got runner-up on the bachelorette a couple of seasons ago). You perfect for commercial print...
