As a sculptor of the human portrait and figure, photography and the ability to take photographs of excellent quality has always been important to me. I have use these photographs as art alone but also as studies for future sculptures. Also to document the details of a current pose or to record nuances of the model's features that my mind’s eye sees as important elements to impart the model's personality in the final sculpture.

I also take photos of the myriad of my other interests. Some photos are candids but if I or the model has a specific idea to explore, the opportunity is open at my studio or at whatever site appears appropriate.
