My name is Kevin Farris and I am a photographer based out of Portland, Oregon. I am primarily a portrait artist who specializes in lifestyle and fashion photography and uses weddings, engagements, and seniors to support myself. I've coined a term for my style, which I call vivid reality; my shooting and editing style isn't aimed at making faux-looking images, but images that, though beautiful and possibly surreal, have a grounding in reality with a more vivid feel to them. I'm hoping Model Mayhem can introduce me to more people to photograph just to get my name out there more and get more word of mouth going around. I'd also like to work with models more and help them build portfolios while I build mine and together help each other grow our careers.
