My name is Isla and I am a hana kanzashi artist who has been interested in kimono for as long as I can remember and began to wear kimono regularly for the past 5 years.

I started with traditional styles however I love experimenting and I often wear kimono with western accessories to bring the kimono image up to date!

Kimono have a long history but they have fallen out of fashion since the 1940's. However I am determine to re-introduce the kimono as the dress that everyone must have.

Be it everyday or glamorous styling there is a kimono for all occasions and I'm here to show you that anything is possible with these beauty garments.

I would love to hear from anyone who would like to experience kimono in their work and in turn wouldn't mind helping me to spread the kimono love that I have.
