Hey Lisolette - saw your question. I get the models to hold very still and take three shots at different exposures, then I combine them. It's called HDR for High Dynamic Range. You can go for a natural look, or you can play with them and produce some very cool effects. I find the software package Photomatix is the best to use for combining the shots.
