My name is Andrew Simpson and I'm a professional and published photographer specializing in portraits.

I work all over London, I'm based in Highgate but have a studio in Willesden ...it's not a garage, not a "home studio", but actual professional photographic studio
All the work on my portfolio is my own and retouched by me. I do not use "tricks of the trade" and not mislead or dupe models in to shooting.
Although photography is my passion, my life reluctantly revolves around my day job which is "IT and Operations Manager" for a CGI production studio but I love to create art and take photos because I enjoy at it and know I'm good at it.
I welcome models to bring a chaperone with them to shoots and hope to create professional relationships with whomever I may work with.
During a studio or indoor location location shoot, I tether my camera to my laptop and you can see the photos as they're being taken. I find this immediately instills models with a sense of confidence in my professional ability by previewing the shots live. It also lends to better lighting, improved images and allows models to see and adjust their poses accordingly.
My camera bag is full of professional equipment including a Canon 6D and a variety of lenses suitable for everything from glamour to high-end fashion. In the studio, I have a wide range of lighting and kit available.... for locations I can bring with me portable lighting to create a magazine-standard look anywhere.
I do not seek to shoot seedy or "dodgy" photos and whilst nudity is part of glamour/art photography, I shoot at a pre-agreed level with models and I have no interest in shooting "open-leg" or porn. I like to be proud of what I do, and like to be able to show my photos to my wife, friends and family.

ACTORS HEADSHOTS:
At the moment I'm seeking to shoot a small number of actors headshots with experienced models who can bolster my portfolio. These sessions take around 2 hours and I'm offering them to select models/actors that have a "Casting Call Pro" and Star Now profile that can credit me for the photos.
ARTISTIC HEADSHOTS:
I'm looking for models with an interesting face to experiment with and work with to create some artistic headshots using new types of lighting. Think EDGY. Think EMOTIVE. Think INTENSE.
ART-NUDES:
This was always an area I stayed away from, but recently I feel like I'm missing this genre from my portfolio. If you're comfortable with nudity and would like to work me, drop me a line!
GLAMOUR FOR SYNDICATION:
If you're a confident glamour model, I'm looking to begin syndication of images and share any income. Revenue split will depending on whether we shoot at my studio or a location you provide.
