About MeWhile I've been known to be outgoing and open-minded, I've always been self-conscious of my body. In order to conquer certain fears and with a few encouraging words from people of my past, I decided to start figure modeling at Savannah College of Art and Design. It was unlike anything I had ever done, but something about it appealed to me. Perhaps part of it was letting myself go for the sake of art, being inspired to create interesting poses so that students to develop their skills. As an artist myself, I just did what I thought would look cool to draw. And I immediately became recognized as a valuable asset to the school.
I suppose I'm revered most of all for dynamic posing, animation and sequential(comics). It's fun to see how long I can hold awkward positions and even cooler to see what someone's rendition of it. I've been at SCAD for an academic year so far and still love what I do, but I think I'd like to do more work with photographers.
I'm always on time. I never complain. And I'm always seeking to do what is best for the artist and maybe developing a relationship in which we can be as creative as possible.
Doing large/medium format? Alternative processes? Mixed media? Awesome.
So that's it. I hope we can make some exciting work together.
