About MeErin Miracle was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Chris and Ann Miracle. She grew up in an incredibly loving and creative environment. Like the women on both sides of her family Erin began her training very young, at the June Runyon School of Ballet in dance and theater. When Erin was in the fifth grade, studying the Renaissance and World War II, she became obsessed with the idea of moving to Europe like her parents had done years before. She was raised on stories of their adventures around the world and wanted to make them a reality in her own life. After incessant persistence Erin’s father applied for a position as a therapist contracting with the military overseas. Within a few months the entire family moved to Germany. There Erin traveled all across Europe, attended German schools and became fluent in the language. She also continued her training in dance and theater. At the age of twelve she was cast as Annie in a nine week production and was nominated for best actress in a leading role by the International Tournament of plays and invited to sing at the red carpet awards ceremony in Heidelberg, Germany.
Though her adventures in Europe were to her a real life fairytale, all three sisters desired to return to America so that they could continue their training in dance, and to finish their education in American schools. The Miracle family returned to Oklahoma and Erin returned to studying dance. Soon after she was hired as a principal actress in a local theater company. The last few years of high school Erin was both performing classical ballet roles such as Odette from Swan Lake, while also starring in original musicals that toured the tri state area.
Since Miss Miracle can remember she’s felt called to a life as a performer, specifically for the screen and specifically based out of Hollywood, California. When Erin was accepted with scholarship to the Sharon Disney Lund School of Dance at the California Institute of the Arts she leapt at the opportunity, and just like she had always dreamt of, Miss Miracle moved to Los Angeles. After two years of study at CalArts Erin transferred to the American musical and Dramatic Academy in Hollywood, California to continue her education in singing, dancing and acting. After graduating she took an unexpected next step and moved to Chicago, Illinois and there began her professional career. First acting in Chicago Children's Theater, as the Director of Dance at The Entertainment Project, training at the Joffrey Ballet and Hubbard Street Dance theater and as the Principal Dancer for the Anita Davis Dance Theater. Miss Miracle was also featured in an episode of Patrick Swayze's last TV show The Beast and became a Guinness Book world record holder when she was cast as a dance leader in the world's largest flash mob which took place on Michigan Avenue in Chicago for Oprah’s 25th Anniversary Block Party.
Erin was thriving professionally as an entertainer still she felt something was missing in her life. The one thing more important than anything else to Miss Miracle, is her faith. Erin’s Harvard graduated pastor/mentor noticed not only her passion for ministry but also her potential for leadership and Theological studies. Based on her writing samples and extensive interviews Erin was accepted to the graduate program at the most academic Lutheran seminary in the country. In seminary Erin was at the top of her class and hired by the writing department to tutor PhD students in writing and in translating German theology. Miss Miracle was flown out to Boston to be one of very selected Worship Leaders for the Fund for Theological Education Conference. Later Erin was hired as the Staff Coordinator and Director of Worship for Lutherdale Bible Camp in Elkhorn, Wisconsin. It seemed as though nothing had ever come easier to her than this academic and Theological environment. However no amount of denial could suppress the original vision that had always been in Erin’s heart, to perform and produce, in Los Angeles. Finally the calling to return became impossible to ignore any longer. Miss Miracle took a leap of faith, left comfort and esteem behind, and moved back to Hollywood.
Since then Erin has been a three-time international American Apparel Model featured on buses billboards, magazines, stores and on their website. She has appeared in a variety of TV shows, web series, shorts, stage plays and more. She's well known for a popular song in Germany produced by Mike Rosh titled “Dream Boy featuring Erin Miracle" as well as a dance iPhone app featuring her as the solo Dancer. Most recently Erin was awarded Best actress at the Downey Late Night Horror Film Festival for her lead role in the independent feature Dead Kansas directed by Aaron K. Carter. At the moment Erin is producing, directing, casting and choreographing ongoing dance shows at a premiere venues right in the heart of Hollywood.
Recently Erin was asked to join an exclusive writers group alongside several legends of film and TV screenwriting. The success of Erin’s award-winning role in Dead Kansas has continued to bring her some outstanding reviews, radio interviews and featured magazine articles.
The humbling and refining journey of Erin’s life so far is only the foundation of what she hopes to be a lifetime of purpose contributing her gifts, light and love to the world in the best way she knows how.
