2014 is the year to help complete my friends project. Simon's Project is a part of an exhibition that will capture people all over the world in a moment. This project will look at where they are in their life and where they want to go.
The exhibition will be displayed in Melbourne at the end of 2014.
The exhibition will feature hundreds of 6x4 sized photographs which document a particular person's life in 2011. Each model will have different photos on the walls floors and ceiling of the exhibition room. The same photographs may appear several times. Some of the photographs will have illustrations and text added to them. We hope to get at least 20 different people.
This is an arts project and so not simply about the photograph - a small questionnaire will need to be completed as part of the process. This is not intrusive but just asks some questions about the models life right now. Importantly I need guys willing to be photographed in their room. If that is not an option then for the right model a stand in room can be found but the model will need to bring a couple of items personal to them. The poses required are at a desk/reading/studying, by a window and in bed.
I only have 10 of the 20 models required so there will be compensation for your time. The shoot should take approximately 2 hours, after the shoot the model will have the option to approve or reject images and copies of images can be provided. There are currently no plans for this exhibition to go online.
