Betsy VanDeusen is a multidisciplinary artist who has focused professionally on Theatre Design & Technology for the last 5 years. Although she is a relative newcomer to the retro-pinup modeling circuit, she was recently featured as a "Hot Rod Bombshell" in "Street Rod Milestones" Magazine.
As an artist working in theatre, Betsy has received a broad education in subjects including (but certainly not limited to): vintage clothing, makeup design, wig-making, and retro hair-styling. That education ignited in her a passion for 1930's-50's fashion (especially bathing suits!). So, not only can Betsy model retro-pinup with sweetness and charm, she can also utilize her wardrobe, makeup, hair, and photography knowledge & skills to provide the full pinup package!
Working in theatre has taken Betsy all over the country, but she's happiest when she's warm, and near the ocean. Based in Los Angeles, she is not afraid of travel and is able to adapt to diverse situations and locations.
In her spare time, Betsy makes and sells jewelry (wwww.BetsyEtsy.Etsy.com), plays the ukulele, and creates mixed-media, photographic, & sculptural artwork. She is a huge fan of the artwork of Gil Elvgren.
