With a background in cinematography, I have been working with film, photography and the arts for over 14 years. While I have a wealth of knowledge and experience shooting traditional portraits, real estate, and marketing images; my real interest lies in creative and artistic imaging. I love working on unique and unusual concepts that set my images apart from others. So while I have reasonable rates for my standard photo services, I am willing to work on occasional TF Shoots to explore and collaborate on anything that is out of the ordinary. I’m always interested in hearing your ideas and love the opportunity to work with creative people.
Models: I realize that your time is valuable. And that a good model is worth their weight in gold. But please note that as a professional, my time is also worth something. I have invested quite a bit into my photography equipment and my expertise and experience places a high value on my invested time on a shoot. Typically, I must spend at least twice as many hours in post production than the limited amount of time we spend shooting with the model, especially on some of my more artistic ventures. So in many ways, my investment into an artistic shoot can be considerably greater than a model or makeup artist. For that reason, it can be quite insulting for a model to start giving me their rates for modeling. Again, I understand that your time is valuable and when there is a paying client involved, I’m always very generous and glad to share the wealth. But when we are collaborating on an artistic concept that will benefit both of our portfolios, all that I ask is that you be courteous of my investment into the project and work with me as a partner, not as a client.
Escorts: are always welcome on any of my shoots. All that I request is a certain level of professionalism from everyone involved. Especially on TF Shoots, please be mindful that everyone’s time is valuable. And nothing ruins a shoot faster than high emotions, so please leave the drama at home.
Distance: I’m currently limited with shooting locations, since I do NOT have free access to a studio at this time. I do have the portable lighting equipment to shoot at just about any indoor location as long as we can get access. But this location limitation means that many of my shoots are outdoor locations. I realize that some people are unable to justify traveling great distances without compensation. So we can discuss possible locations when designing a concept. I don’t mind driving a considerable distance as long as the project warrants the investment. But please work with me when we select an outdoor location. A lot of times, I choose to shoot in the Duncanville, Desoto, Cedar Hill area because I’m usually coming from Ellis County. Hopefully, if you are working with me on one of my artistic TF shoots, the investment in travel expense will be well worth the compensation to your portfolio. Thanks for being flexible on this.
Professionalism: While I do hope that our shooting experience is enjoyable and fun, I also expect a certain level of professionalism from everyone involved. I do not flirt or hit on models. I believe in being friendly, but remaining professional. I’m happily married, and only interested in a collaborative working relationship. I also expect some kind of prior notice should a photo shoot need to be rescheduled. It is so very inconsiderate to not show up on time and prepared for the days shoot. I’m of course understanding when emergencies arise, but please be considerate enough to call and reschedule.
I look forward to meeting new and creative friends here on Model Mayhem. Send me a message and lets create something unusual, yet beautiful.
