Mayhem # 2306079
About MeNo, I don't crank them out this fast--I just have not shown anything in awhile and I have three new ones. You already saw the first, this is my second. This is from my mask series and it is called, "Interface." It is 100% colored pencil, Prismacolor Pencils and Luminance, on grey Stonehenge paper, 21 x 16 and my own reference, using a wonderful model, Ayu Sakata, who is gracious, darling, and a beautiful spirit.
The robe that Ayu is wearing is her own traditional Japanese bathing robe, called a yukata. It is tied with a obi (the belt) and I was fascinated watching Ayu tie it! You would not believe how long it is! Ayu is Japanese, but was born in the US and she bought the robe on a trip to Japan. She was not allowed to purchase the robe and obi until she could prove she could tie the obi herself.

I am a female professional artist. You can see my work at: lorigarnerart.com to view my style of art, or, of course, view some of the art pieces here!
I take photos of models in various poses and settings to use as artistic reference for my artwork. I saw some local models on this site that would work perfectly for me, so I decided to join so that I could contact them to see if they would be interested in working with me to fulfill my visions.
I am pretty successful with my art--I recently got published in a book and one of my drawings, with the lovely MM model, Britany Blair #2245532, is on the cover of an art magazine. I have had my art hang in numerous galleries in the U.S. and am an award winner in several international and national art competitions.
I am very easy to work with. A good sense of humor and not demanding. I pay for your time. The shoots are creative and fun and always tasteful. My art is romantic type of art and also some quirky, fun type. I tried to show some variety on the art pieces I posted here.
I look forward to working with some wonderful people here and making contact with fellow artists.
