I'm a relatively new advanced hobbyist photographer. Many years ago I enjoyed video production as a hobby. Unfortunately, while I was also interested in photography, I found it was just too expensive to dabble in at that time. Fast forward to the present and technology has made it a much more accessible interest for me. So in early 2011, I dove in and have been rapidly gaining knowledge and experience while loving every minute of it. I've found that I really enjoy shooting people, but by this point, my friends and family are getting tired of posing for me. To give them a break, I've decided to join Model Mayhem and find others to collaborate with who are also just as interested in making art.

While I don't plan to quit my day job in engineering, I'm excited to pursue my long standing interest in photography. My medium-term goal s involve shooting location based portraits and artistic prints. In the near term, however, I really need to fill out my portfolio. At this point, I'm really only interested in doing "time for print" work. So if you're a local model and you also need to expand you're portfolio, let me know. Perhaps we can work together for mutual benefit.

I'm located in the far northwest Chicago suburbs, but I do get to the Detroit area a few times per year.
