I've worked in many parts of photography and production for most of my life. I was an actor in small stage productions and in acting/speaking competitions starting at age 7 and continuing through high school. I worked as a stage crew member in various capacities at the University of Missouri, doing rigging, gripping, running spots or cameras, etc, as well as doing some acting. I've been a model for some production work (brochures, ad material, etc.).

Recently I had the great opportunity to work with Brian DeMint of Eyeworks in Joplin, MO and enjoyed the experience. I take physical direction well and understand lighting angles and line of sight mainly due to my acting experience.

There may be a lack of male models at times, and I have the skill, time and desire to do this type of work.

As a note, I grow my beard out when not doing any specific acting or modeling but am willing to trim my facial hair to whatever style is necessary, although generally I will only do that for a paying shoot (or a close friend, haha). My hair is also fairly long and I continue to grow it out, although I am willing to restyle it/cut it within reason for the right shoot.
