Originally from California, I have been living in Durham for the past six years. Before moving to Durham, I spent ten years as an artist in NYC, where I primarily painted large-scale, environmentally-themed works that incorporate figures into the landscape. During the last five years, I have focused more on painting landscapes and cityscapes, as well as on printmaking, but I am returning to figure painting and have a number of paintings in mind for which I need models. I am hoping to find friendly, consistent, and dependable models for this new series of works. I also host regular live-model figure painting and drawing classes for which I am constantly in search of models that meet the above criteria.
