About MeNewspaper article from ReFoto magazine (September, 2009.):
New hope Bosnia & Herzegovina photographic scenes - Zoran Mrdjenovic, almost by accident, but was bravely stepped into the world of professional photography, and his interest is focused on studio and work with attractive models.
Interest and engagement photographer Zoran Mrdjenovic associated with two periods of his life. In early childhood, in addition to rushing for the ball, he began to get interested in drawing. From this emerged the true love. Many years later, that love is waking up again, but also transformed the image. In 2004, when he went on a student trip to visit the most beautiful European cities, reveals all the possibilities of a small digital camera that was bought just before the trip. Given the time that it is not fair nor tried, he was completely fascinated, so it was at that point of photographing all thrilled. Thus was born a new, old love.
Already 2006th in his photographic inserts placed in front of a big challenge. From the Agency for the Protection of copyright law gets an invitation to work as a photographer in Montenegro. The project was to shoot photographs for books and tourist guides of Budva, which is sponsored by Tourist Association of Budva. Until then, it was "just" a great lover of photography, which is still photos of a pocket Canon Ixus digital camera. He was a bit ridiculous to appear in Montenegro as a "professional" photographer who took out from his pocket a small "Ixus" because it was set before him a request and the challenge is for experienced photographers with excellent equipment. This call is most influenced by his web-presentation with photos (the Internet address: www.mrdjenovic.com), because the gallery was full of nature motifs from the Montenegrin coast. After several phone calls, agreed on with the job and encouraged by their story convincing to believe, based on photos seen, that he can do, even with his humble photo equipment. A few days before departure, however acquired a somewhat semi-photo-equipment, then one of the most popular D-SLR camera - Canon 350D, two lenses ranging from 18 to 300 mm and the polarization filter. Certainly it was a wonderful trip and the beauty of Montenegro, but also a great pleasure for her first professional job done at the required level.
It was a big step forward in the creation of his career because after that very soon we receive calls for cooperation with some travel agencies and hotels from the Montenegrin coast. Because of all this was a great encouragement for further work, and so it became a real fan of this craft.
During the study, and research in photography are increasingly finding in portraiture of people, ranging from making street portraits to passers-by, to portraits of friends on the sites developed in advance. All this turned into a major, and is currently achieved, the desire to open his own photo studio and the photos become a serious and integral part of his life. Today most of the portrait and fashion shoots - glamor photography, and in that area trying to make more progress and improving it. Enjoy them, as in photography, as well as watching recorded one particular moment and a typical person's life. Are full of emotion, penetrate the soul and evoke a mysterious moment, ie, visual contact and observer portretisane contact, eye contact and penetration in thought. Enjoy that photo so authentic own control, ie the idea, setting, lighting, scenes, etc. Photoshop manipulation to avoid, because it tries to keep the photo in its original form.
Another, a big incentive to work was the award Amateur Photographer 2006th year in the competition, "International Open Amateur Photography Competition" (International Open Amateur Photography Competition), for a photograph titled "Moon Dancer". Then he was invited to Las Vegas at a gala presentation of the award crystal trophy for the success achieved. This recognition is much influenced his future work with more confidence entering in each subsequent challenge.
Zoran Mrdjenovic believes that artistic expression is the most important human spirit. Expression of personal skills, talents and specific world views, because in art there are no limits of human fantasies, visions of expression and perception. The man must liberate your imagination and show off what he sees and feels and to try to overcome all possible obstacles.
