I'm a male model/actor/vocalist (for the band Dark Eden,
http://www.darkeden.org), who is available for work in photos or video. I have a wiry build, but am able to go through a variety of looks, ranging from metal to professional to goth/fetish to a more horror style. I have done internet, photo, video, and runway work, although the majority of the work I have done has been goth/fetish/alternative modeling. I do not mind nudity and I do not mind bondage work, but I am not interested in being in porn. It's not that I have a problem with people getting off to my image, it's that I refuse to be part of anything cheesy.
Basically, I have been focusing on my music the last few years, so I have been out of the modeling loop, but I am very much looking to get back into the swing of things. I have a pierced lip, one tattoo on the back of my neck, and the picture of me with the extensions is the most recent hair style I've had. As you can see in my pictures, I have done a variety of different looks. I am always open to new ideas, however, and have been told that I am a pleasure to work with. Also, for anyone interested. My rates depend on how much I like your work, really, and I am willing to travel, but if it is too far out of New York State, I would require compensation.
I should also note that, although I do not, in any way, fancy myself as a professional photographer, I would like to, in the future, become more involved with models behind the camera. I also have directed the promotional video for my band's song, "3 Years, 10 Months, 8 Days" (which is available to view on our website), and have started pre-production on a very, very dark feature length film i intend to have finished by 2007. Anyone interested in participating or helping out on that is welcome to contact me.
Also, and I have to say this, PLEASE DO NOT CONTACT ME IF YOU DO NOT HAVE AN IDEA OF WHAT YOU WANT ME TO DO! I do not really have time to come up with photography ideas for you. If you see me, have a vision, and say, "I like that guy's look, I should use him in X and Y!" then I'm all for it. If you see me, and think, "I wonder if there's any particular shoots he'd like to do," then don't bother me. As a model, I am your canvas, I am your clay. A painter doesn't ask the paint what it wants to be turned into. Don't do that with me.
I am currently debating as to whether or not to continue dying my hair black, or whether to go back to my natural red color (yes, I am ginger!)
