A professional Hair and Make-up Artist since 2004, Lee-Anne has consistently challenged herself to learn the latest techniques to push the boundaries with her creativity.
She graduated from Glasgow’s Clydebank College, completing a three-year Make-up Artistry HND (Higher National Diploma). Her ambitions took her further and she was accepted as the first and only Make-up Artist at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama, where she earned her BA in Digital Film and Television (an accredited program).
Upon completion of her studies, she trained at the BBC under the mentourship of Irene Blair and Elaine Coburn. Two exceedingly experienced Make-up Designers; Lee-Anne was privileged and grateful for their generous guidance, accompaniment, and support.
Lee-Anne went on to be a Make-up Designer on over 35 short films, a feature length film, television pilots, commercials, corporate videos, theatrical productions, editorial spreads and fashion shows.
Having returned to Canada two years ago Lee-Anne is currently the Makeup Designer for Cable 14’s ‘For The Record’, ‘Hamilton Talks’ and ‘Access the Mayor’. You can see more of her work in The Hamilton Spectator (where she is published frequently), Walnut Studios, Gallery 205 and is the regular Face Painter for McMaster’s Marauders’ games.
