I often need to find, and shoot a model for a specific job, within a week to ten days... so if we're friends, and if you don't check in every couple of days, or have MM messages forwarded to an address you check daily, PLEASE send me a MM message with an email or phone # that will reach you immediately. It's tough when a model gets back to me after I've had to hire someone else.
I'm often looking for action heroes and heroines, so need an acting mindset more than fashion. If I friend you, it's because I like your look/work, and I think there's potential to work together. It also looks to be the way to "bookmark" you to find you again for gigs down the road. Also, if we're friends, and you have a concept for a piece YOU want in your folio, feel free to pitch a TFP/CD collaboration. Here're some folio pics done as collaborations. http://www.daveseeley.com/p385145317

I'm an illustrator working in publishing and advertising, and I use photography to build an image, often incorporating dozens of pics to get what I'm after. Crazy post-production skills can make things - possible - that would not be otherwise. I'm looking to MM for both paid gigs, and mutually satisfying personal projects to build samples, so my budgets will vary pretty widely. We can both use the personal projects as bait for paying gigs..
Here's the official pitch...
Dave Seeley is an award winning science fiction and fantasy artist living in Boston. He trained in architecture and fine art, but after 10 years as a distinguished architect, he was seduced by the glamour of illustration and derailed his career for the far more immediate gratification of image making. A sense of materials fetishism, and a love of spatial atmospherics are evidence that the inner architect is alive and flourishing.
