My name is Lee Fisher and I am a fine-art photo student pursuing my BFA.
I find the “imperfections” in my models alluring and arousing. My subjects are shot in a simplistic and honest way—without an army of lights and makeup. I like to experiment with color relationships, texture, perspective, and multiple exposure. Change and uncertainty have been the only constants in my life so I’ve come to accept the anxiety of not knowing how the final image will look until I develop my film.
I am currently working on a body of work involving abstract, surreal, nudes exploring what Swiss psychologist and pioneer of the psychoanalysis movement, Carl Jung, refers to as "the collective unconscious" where "the self" touches upon the margins of the Divine Ground.
