About Me

I am an independent designer and recent graduate from Columbia College. I have experience with fiber arts (weaving, dying, fabric manipulation), millinery, jewelry, womenswear, sustainable design, costume design, and styling. My art/design is most inspired by deconstruction and reconstruction of different elements. My latest collection was inspired by glass broken and rebuilt into sculpture. The line and structural elements were the focus and also the idea that something shattered and built back up can create something even stronger than the original. It is meant to exude the feeling of strength while aesthetically pleasing the eye with elaborate and thoughtful seaming.
I also create eco-friendly design in which I deconstruct clothing and use scraps to make a more "bohemian meets chic" type of style. I would like to use Model Mayhem to build my portfolio and work with other professionals. Please message me if anything sparks your interest!
