I have been a professional photographer for over 25 yrears. Starting with nine years in the Royal Air Force, which had it moments. Training was at the Joint services school of Photography followed by City and Guilds 744 and then a City and Guilds 745.
The next two years were taken up managing a wedding and portrait studio.
A brief period of studio advertising photography followed but when that drove me nuts I moved into more general freelance photography and I am enjoying the wide variety of work that being freelance offers.
I am concentrating on lifestyle images at the moment which is exciting for me and offers models the chance to show some personality and acting as well as adding something different to their portfolio.
I am shooting for a stock library at the moment and need to build up a large selection of images for them. I have been doing this for a while working on a TFCD/TFP with a twist,
ie I shoot TFCD but offer a lot more than the usual amount of finished images in exchange for a signed release. This has been popular with some models but I fully understand that it does not suit everyone. I am also building a list of interested models who only work for pay but I do have a list of TFCD shoots to work through first.
I hope to start a new personal project soon shooting art images similar to images often used for book covers.
Long flowing dresses, and wild locations. Elegant, enigmatic and sensual.
I'm happy to chat so please feel free to drop me a line.
