Mayhem # 2432480
I am just a "small time" artist and a part time photographer with my own small Independent Studio down here in the Mid-South. Despite my best efforts to avoid the temptation "of" and my "stout" reluctance too . . . I am ever so slowly being drawn into a larger and brighter arena.
In my past . . . I have studied anything and everything from Architecture (my first love) and Architectural History, to Art History, as well as Drawing, Painting, and other forms of Art Media. My primary interest of "study" at this time is painting. I like the bright, clean, heavy Acrylics, The magical Oils, but my favorite forever will always be the "subtle and moody" Watercolors, of which I am currently trying to perfect the multiple methods of. I'm forever trying to expand my technique(s), that I know will eventually one day, get me into the 'big show'.
Recently, I have also discovered the joys of the Glass Arts, I am presently constructing, and "reconstructing Classical, and Structural designs of Stained Glass.
"I follow my heart, wherever my "Art" will lead me" . . . (strange? go figure?).
A "decent" photographer of years past, I have recently returned to this field of Art, digital photography and videography; yet I still like to occasionally use my stockpile of "black and white" film (quite sparingly and only for those "special" scenes. The "raw" strength and "emotion" of the monochrome classical beauty that is B&W", can still not be beat.
My "primary" focus in photography lie(s) specifically in the realm of "restraint fetish art". Second, is in my "Active Imagination Series". I hope to meet and work with many "similarly minded", or just "interested" members of this site.
NOTE: Female Model's; please feel free to inquire about any one of my Studio's available variety of "opportunities". Please see my profile page for a list of who I have enjoyed working with, and a sample of wardrobes used.
NOTE: I travel several times a year, primarily to the Pacific Northwest and the Northern Rocky Mountain States. I also travel to many areas in the Mid and Upper Midwest; and of course, the Mid-South.
Thank you for stopping by . . .
